Benefits

Practitioner to Practitioner

The Florida Association of Equine Practitioners is proud to present our How to .... program to all members.

A Mentor is defined in the dictionary as “A wise and trusted counselor or teacher”. The Florida Association of Equine Practitioners defines a mentor as a member, eager and willing to teach other FAEP practitioner members (on a one-on-one basis), about practices and procedures in the chosen field of equine medicine.

Mentoring allows one veterinarian to pass along invaluable information to others and to share resources, skills, and specialties; while the mentored party reaps the immeasurable benefits.

Members need only to call the FAEP office where you will be connected to the people who can assist you with your needs and questions. Being a mentor takes very little time and effort, yet the benefits for both parties are huge!

Here are just a few of the topics our members are willing to share their expertise on:

If you are interested in becoming an FAEP mentor and sharing your specialties or you would like to be set up with a mentor, please call the FAEP office at 352-812-1054 or email us.
