How to Produce Diagnostic Quality Ultrasound Images
This lecture will focus on the recognition of common scanning errors.
Simulations will show how to correct them in order to obtain diagnostic quality images.

Jenifer Garber, VMD
Dr. Garber is a 1988 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a 1-year internship at New Bolton Center after graduation. She became interested in ultrasound while working in the Heart Station with Dr. Reef during school and her internship. She completed a combined residency in equine surgery and medicine at the University of Florida in 1993. She became board certified in Internal Medicine and with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Since completing her residency, she has worked in private equine practice, first in Wellington, Florida and in 1998 moved to Ocala. She has worked at Ocala Equine Hospital since 1998. She has a keen interest in imaging in general and ultrasound in particular.
W. Wesley Sutter, DVM, MEP, Diplomate ACVS
Dr. Sutter was born in Lander, Wyoming. He received his bachelors of science in biochemistry from Colorado State University in 1997. He then completed his doctor of veterinary medicine from Colorado State University in 2000. Following veterinary school he completed a one-year rotating equine surgery and medicine internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed a surgical residency at The Ohio State University where he later served as an assistant professor in equine orthopedic surgery before entering private practice as surgeon at Ocala Equine Hospital. His primary interests are in equine orthopedics and regenerative therapies. He has published several manuscripts on PRP and cell based therapies.
