This presentation will review the literature and reported clinical data on adipose and bone marrow source stem cells for the treatment of equine tendon, ligament and joint disease. The review will cover in vitro laboratory data, clinical case reports, retrospective outcome analysis, prospective randomized studies and human clinical outcomes to arrive at conclusions about appropriate clinical use of stem cell therapy in equine practice.
